Weesha’s Beauty List

Just sharing a list of products I am loving at the moment!

John Frieda Crème Serum Overnight Repair- I started using this recently because bleach has killed my hair. My hair is less coarse and frizzy now but I stopped using it every night as it started to make my hair greasy. I use it as a serum after showers as well, perfect for shine and fighting frizz.

John Frieda Curl Perfecting Spray- my favorite hair product of all time! I used to chemically straighten my hair when I was younger and this product helped me transition back to my natural curls. It would curl my straightened hair so I could give up horrible curling irons. Lots of my friends use this on their straight hair to get beach waves or just curl their ends. I use this for smaller, tighter curls.

Boots Curly Hair Mousse- like the previous products, I use this on wet hair (before serum) and scrunch. It’s perfect for when I want bigger, wavy like curls :) Unlike gels or other mousses, it doesn’t make my hair crunchy.

TRESemme Oil replacement Mask- My previous conditioners would give me soft but weighed down hair. This makes my hair soft, light and fluffy without the frizz. I have really thick hair but I’m nowhere close to finishing it after 3 uses- major plus point for me!

Batiste Dry Shampoo- absolutely necessary for when my scalp gets oily and I don’t have time to wash it (don’t judge- I have to condition my hair for a few hours before I get to wash it!)

I’ve just started using the Boots No 7 Protect and Perfect Day cream, Night cream and Eye cream.  I figure now would be a good age to worry about wrinkle protection, no? I have combination skin so I use a very small amount of the day cream to avoid greasy skin . My skin feels a lot softer now and the eye cream- oh honey, let me tell you- I actually look forward to putting it on because it’s so soothing and moisturizing.

Sephora Lip Balm-  does not bleed, super moisturizing and it has that tingly sensation. This has become my holy grail lip balm :)

Neutrogena Refreshing Oil- free Wipes-I’m very lazy about washing my make up off so these make up wipes have been kind of revolutionary for me. It’s faster, easier, and they’re so soothing and moisturizing. I actually look forward to using them every morning and night because they make my skin feel great.

Haha, I unintentionally spelt ‘booty’.

Trésor Midnight Rose- I’m so in love with this scent! I think this is the perfect age appropriate perfume- not too young, not too old.  I’m going to stick to this one for a while <3

MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle- One of my fave beauty bloggers, Tao, highly recommended this to highlight the cheekbones and nose for a dewy, glowy effect. It takes years to finish a whole box since you need very little product, worth every penny!

Benefit Cha Cha Tint- The most natural looking blush I have ever used. LOVE!

MAC Studio Fix is great for days when I can’t be bothered to wear a whole face of make up. It doesn’t stay on as long as the Pro Longwear line but it has medium coverage and you can use a concealer brush to layer it over dark circles and spots- it’s pretty quick & hassle free.

MAC Pro Longwear Foundation & concealer- I can’t live without these two! They last the entire day without any mid day oiliness, I would say it’s a high coverage foundation so you only need to use a little for a natural look. I also like that it’s not matte so it doesn’t look caked on.

Benefit They’re Real Mascara- I wasn’t even looking for a new mascara but as soon as the sales lady put some on me, I was SOLD.  It really does look like you’re wearing fake eyelashes because they become super long and lush!

I am a lipstick junkie! These are just a few of my faves, I think I’m partial towards the Sephora ones because they smell so great and they’re cheap too.

I got to try a session of Pain less laser hair removal over at Kaya Skin Clinic and it was ridiculous! I felt nothing and it was over in minutes. I’m used to waxing so at the end of my session I was like, “that’s it?!” Pretty amazing stuff but it is a little expensive for me (although, in the long run, I guess you spend more on waxing since laser hair removal lasts for months.)

What are your favorite products? Is there anything you think I should check out?

Love and hugs <3

Since you love the No. 7 line from Boots (it's great), you should also try the No. 7 Protect and Perfect Serum.
